Milk Oolong
A relatively new varietal in the world of oolong teas, Milk Oolong hails from the An-xi region of China's Fujian province - an area renowned for oolong tea. As the name implies, Milk Oolong is prized for the inherently creamy and buttery notes it possesses. Lower quality versions of this tea are enhanced through artificial aromatization to manufacture this result. Our tea is a true milk oolong; a tea that is lightly roasted through a masterful technique to bring out these unique and natural flavors present in the leaves. The result is a light-bodied cup with a sweet buttery texture and a delicate, slightly milky and floral aroma.

Tea Tips
Brew with a water temperature of 190°F (88°C) for 3-5 minutes
The unique flavor profile of this tea greatly benefits from a dedicated Yixing clay teapot. The porous property of the clay causes the teapot to absorb trace amounts of the brewed tea flavors, which helps to optimally enhance the natural flavor profile of future milk oolong brewings over time.
